Getting Started with Roberts Rules: A Beginner’s Guide to Tribal Governance

*Space is limited to 10 members for the founding cohort.*

This one-of-a-kind, 8-week online course is built around a simple goal:

To help learners gain the confidence and skills to run meetings that lead to thriving tribal nations.

If you're a new or emerging tribal leader feeling confused by Robert's Rules — or a seasoned leader seeking a clearer understanding of the fundamentals — this introductory course is for you.

Led by Patrick Anderson (Tlingit), Parliamentarian for the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI)
, the course combines self-paced learning with live, hands-on Zoom sessions, helping participants learn how to to use Roberts Rules in a way that fits tribal values and needs.

Each week, you'll review new material on your own, then join your cohort to practice and apply what you’ve learned — together.

Participants also receive 1-year access to:
  • Monthly office hours with Patrick
  • A private peer forum
  • All course materials — so you have ongoing support to apply Robert’s Rules in real-world settings

We are limiting the first cohort to just 10 participants, each of whom will receive a discounted rate of $1,200 and handcrafted copper Tin’áa made by Patrick
as a thank-you for becoming a founding member and helping shape the future of this learning community — and of ndgenius. Reserve your spot today!
